Homework Week 04 Scheduling
You will never find time for anything. If you want time you must make it.

- Print off the Annual View Schedule and put in your big rocks. Project deadlines, speaking engagements, networking events, VACATION, days when kids are off school, whatever the big rocks in your life.
- Next print off the Monthly Schedule Worksheet and make sure your big rocks are there in greater detail as well as any other commitments.
- Print the Weekly Calendar Worksheet and make sure you carve out time in your weekly schedule to be working on your Top Ten Goals. It can be a whole day or a few hours at a time.
- Schedule regular breaks (ideally every 25 minutes) to get up and move around, get yourself a glass of water, or whatever works to give you a break and get yourself physically moving.
- Protect your project / personal time the same way you would protect a client appointment.
- Do not over schedule yourself. You need to have unscheduled time to deal with things that pop up and to keep yourself from overwhelm.
- You control your schedule. Book things around your life and energy flow. For example, I don't "people" on Mondays (KSA is the exception) and I don't typically see client before 1:00 pm. This allows me time for myself and to work on my projects and allows me evenings to see clients without burning out.
- Participate in the call and ask questions.
