- Your Ideal Clients are the ones that make you happy when you deal with them
- Remember that you are a business, not a volunteer, and this means you need to make a profit
- Write out a list of the characteristics of your favourite clients
- Write out a list of the characteristics of the clients that you can't stand
- Compare the two lists and better clarify what makes an ideal client for you so that you can better answer the question when you are asked
- Find the common characteristics of your ideal clients. Age, location, occupation, association, political beliefs, etc. Knowing these factors makes it easier for you to find more of them
- Participate in the call and ask questions
This is a fantastic book about providing knock your socks off customer service. Providing great customer service is much easier when you are working with your ideal clients.
