Making good judgments when one has complete data, facts, and knowledge is not leadership - it's bookkeeping.

- Print the Business Budget Sheet twice. Once for where you are now (or your first projected year in business) and once for where you want to be in five years
- Pay attention to the bottom AND top lines. Bottom line is how much you have left over once everything is paid for and the top line is how much you want to earn and how much profit
- What are you going to have to do differently in terms of your business spending to move you towards your five-year business goals?
- Do not waste your time, evergy, and efforts doing minimum wage jobs. Outsource, hire, or delegate and focus your abilities on the stuff that makes you money
- Plan for the future you want, don't just react to present pressures
- Participate in the call and ask questions
